We reimagined this 1986 waterfront home with its first major renovation in nearly 40 years, creating a refreshed kitchen, new baths, and custom spaces that highlight the client’s collection of seashells, sea glass, and global finds.

In collaboration with Elly Poston Interiors of Richmond, VA, this remodel transformed a long-loved Vero Beach home into a fresh new chapter. The project included relocating the powder room, reconfiguring the primary bath, designing two guest baths, and updating the kitchen with new countertops, backsplash, hardware, and fixtures.

We also created custom built-ins to enhance function and display. In the great room, a new unit was designed to showcase the client’s ship collection while concealing the television with a hydraulic lift. Additional cabinetry in the butler’s pantry and kitchen provided extra seating and storage, blending beauty with practicality.

The client’s years of sailing and traveling the world provided extraordinary inspiration. Her sculpted shell art, a chandelier crafted from sea glass she discovered herself, and a clam shell sink became one-of-a-kind design elements. Custom built-ins and a butler’s pantry now display her collection of treasures, while coquina stone steps and porch add timeless coastal charm. The result is a home that blends elegance with deeply personal storytelling.
